Overview

Duties

- Greet guests warmly and provide attentive guest services throughout their dining experience
- Take accurate orders using POS systems, including Micros POS, ensuring timely entry and processing
- Serve food and beverages efficiently while maintaining presentation standards
- Upsell menu items to enhance guest experience and increase sales opportunities
- Handle cash transactions accurately, including cashiering and cash handling responsibilities
- Ensure food safety and sanitation standards are maintained in all areas of service
- Assist with food preparation and kitchen duties as needed to support team operations
- Maintain cleanliness of tables, utensils, and dining areas according to sanitation guidelines
- Manage time effectively to serve multiple tables during busy periods while providing personalized attention
- Provide knowledgeable recommendations about menu items, specials, and wine or beverage pairings

Qualifications

- Previous experience in food service or restaurant environments is highly desirable




- Familiarity with POS systems such as Micros POS is a plus
- Strong customer service skills with a focus on guest satisfaction
- Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tables efficiently
- Knowledge of food handling, safety procedures, and sanitation standards
- Basic math skills for billing, cash handling, and order calculations
- Ability to work in a quick-paced environment while maintaining professionalism
- Kitchen experience or food industry background is advantageous but not mandatory
- Hospitality mindset with a friendly attitude and strong communication skills

Pay: $17.85-$28.82 per hour

Expected hours: 40 - 50 per week
