If you are passionate about a career in hospitality and want to join a team that shares this common goal, The Barrington is presently seeking a 2nd Cook at TEMPO Food+Drink in The Barrington Hotel. Our award-winning TEMPO Food+Drink restaurant serves up hearty, authentic Canadian comfort food, handcrafted cocktails and Instagram worthy specials in a lively and vibrant setting. Reporting to the Sous Chef, this individual will be responsible for providing consistent and quality food offerings while delivering excellent customer service and ensuring guest satisfaction. What you will be doing :

- Prepping food items for service
- Preparing food to order
- Maintaining a clean work area
- Closing the kitchen at end of day
- Opening the kitchen on occasion
- Assist with inventory count as needed.
- Complete all mandatory food hygiene and safety training that must be kept up to date




- Maintain a clean work area as required by provincial health standards
- Such other similar and related duties as required from time to time

The person we are looking for is :

- Passionate about food and has a minimum of 1-2 years of similar work experience
- Highly organized with great attention to detail
- Able to plan and prioritize in a fast-paced environment
- Knowledgeable in culinary operations, is a team player, hard worker, and detail oriented
