Overview

Duties

- Prepare and bake a variety of baked goods, including beef/chicken pies, cakes, pastries, puff puff, egg roll, buns, croissants, and bread
- Decorate cakes and desserts with creative designs using various decorating techniques
- Assist with food preparation tasks such as chopping, mixing, and assembling ingredients
- Ensure all food handling and safety standards are strictly followed
- Package baked goods for retail or catering orders with attention to presentation and quality
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen and work areas
- Provide excellent customer service by assisting customers with product selections and answering questions
- Follow recipes accurately and adapt to special dietary requirements when needed
- Support the team during busy hours by managing multiple tasks efficiently

Experience





- Previous experience in cake decorating or bakery is highly preferred
- Restaurant or food service experience is advantageous
- Knowledge of food safety protocols and proper food handling procedures
- Experience in food preparation, cooking, or kitchen operations within the food industry
- Familiarity with baking techniques and food packaging processes
- Strong customer service skills with a friendly and skilled demeanor
- Ability to work efficiently in a quick-paced environment while maintaining high-quality standards

Pay: $17.20-$27.30 per hour

Expected hours: 35 - 44 per week
