The Software Engineer (Internal Tools & Systems) role at Helcim is a mid-level to senior full-stack engineering position focused on building the internal systems used by teams like Fraud/Risk, Support, Marketing, Data, and Partnerships.

Main responsibilities

Build and maintain internal platforms and operational tools

Develop full-stack features and APIs

Work with SQL/MySQL databases and BigQuery

Build CI/CD pipelines using GitLab

Deploy and maintain services on AWS or GCP

Collaborate with Product, DevOps, Risk Analysts, and Data teams

Improve engineering processes and reliability systems

Required skills





4-5 years of software engineering experience

Strong SQL/MySQL knowledge

Experience with Vue3, React, or Angular

Experience with Docker and cloud infrastructure

API development experience

PHP Laravel experience is considered a solid bonus

Kafka and Kubernetes familiarity are nice-to-haves.

Pay: $7,000.00-$9,200.00 per month
