Overview We are seeking a highly organized and proactive Transportation and Materials Supervisor.

General Statement of Duties :

- To ship, receive and record the movement of parts, supplies, materials, equipment, and stock to and from an establishment.
- To supervise truck drivers and yard equipment operators and coordinate loading/offloading and storage of outbound or incoming materials.
- To coordinate required maintenance of trucks, trailers and yard equipment.
- Perform monthly yard inspections. Coordinate cleaning and maintenance to yard as required.
- Monitor and enforce Makloc safety program with employees and subcontractors.

Summary of Duties ( included,but not limited to ) :

- Scheduling of daily pickups and deliveries
- Verification of pieces being sent or recieved
- Ensure loads are complete and accurate to the bill of loading/packing slips
- Completing Bill of Ladings for shipments and keeping other paperwork organized
- Demonstrates a customer-focused approach when assisting clients by phone and in person (in the facility and at Shipping/Receiving Office)
- Ensure trucker logs are accurately filled out to maintain compliance with DOT and Makloc Safety Policies
- Track and Organize Inventory
- Expedite building packages for yard Erect Crews
- Identify Customer Material, with receiver number
- Receiving P.O's using the Accounting System (STRUMIS).



Marking required information on materials received for future identification, then directing storage in the correct location.
- Purchasing shipping and receiving supplies, packaging and preservation supplies as required.
- Complete an inventory count quarterly and create reports on inventory analysis
- Must be available for on-call for both Shipping and Receiving
- Additional duties as assigned by Management

Qualifications

- 3+ Years of progressive experience in Transportation Operations, materials management, or fleet supervision
- Experience coordinating fleet operations, equipment utilization, and maintenance activities
- Experience with STRUMIS considered an asset
- Strong organizational and problem-solving skills with attention to detail and accuracy
- Excellent leadership abilities with experience supervising a team
- Effective communication skills for coordinating across departments
- Knowledge of safety regulations related to warehouse operations and material handling
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional certifications in supply chain or logistics considered an asset
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities

Job Types : Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $35.00-$37.00 per hour
