Tsawwassen Springs is in search of Pastry Cooks /Assistants to join our team. Our facility is surrounded by an incredible golf course and home to Pat Quinn’s Restaurant and Tsawwassen Springs Banquet facility.

Job Types: Full time, Part Time

Pastry Cook

Employment: Full-time Hourly pay: $19.50 CAD Reports to: Pastry Chef

· Prepare and produce pastries, desserts, baked goods, and other items according to established recipes and standards.

· Assist the Pastry Chef with daily production schedules, mise en place, and preparation for restaurant, café,



and banquet needs.

· Accurately weigh ingredients, follow recipes, and maintain consistent taste, texture, portion size, and presentation.

· Assist with baking, finishing, decorating, plating, and packaging pastry products as required.

· Maintain proper labeling, storage, stock rotation, food safety, sanitation, and allergen-control practices.

· Keep pastry work areas, ovens, mixers, tools, and equipment clean and organized.

· Monitor ingredient levels, minimize waste, and report supply or production needs to the Pastry Chef.

· Support special events, seasonal menus, and additional kitchen production when needed.

· Work collaboratively with the pastry and culinary teams and follow direction from the Pastry Chef.

· Be available for flexible shifts, including weekdays, weekends, early mornings, evenings, and holidays.

· Previous pastry or baking experience is preferred but not mandatory; training will be provided.
