Western Truck & Trailer is currently looking to fill an immediate position in our busy Parts Department. We are looking for a seasoned Parts Apprentice or Parts Journeymen to assist all customers (retail, wholesale and shop,) in person or on the telephone, in selecting required parts in a friendly, skilled, and efficient manner.

General Responsibilities:

- Learns and effectively uses the company business system PBS, the CRM, and all other online programs (Paragon, CAT, etc.), required to fulfill the duties of a parts person
- Exceptional Customer Service skills through creating a positive customer experience both in person and on the telephone.
- Informs customers of companion part requirements and specials and ensures that the customer is exposed to the full product line
- Answers phone calls in a timely and appropriate manner to provide the sale, price quotes and other information
- Notifies the shop supervisor and the customers when special ordered parts have been received
- Pulls and fills orders from stock for orders via telephone and walk in Customers




- Advise Customers on substitution or modification of parts when identical replacements are not available
- Deals with returned parts and exchanges or refunds customers for defective parts.
- Participates in all training programs that are made available

Qualifications:

- Minimum 2 years as a Parts Person working within the Heavy Duty Truck industry.
- An exceptional level of organization
- Excellent verbal, written and communication skills
- Ability to work without direct supervision in a high paced environment
