Job Summary

The Automotive Service Advisor is a key connection between customers and the service team, helping customers understand repair needs and coordinating a smooth service experience. You’ll explain recommended work, support informed decisions, and help technicians focus on accurate, timely repairs.

Responsibilities

- Welcome customers, listen to concerns, and document vehicle symptoms and service requests accurately.
- Coordinate repair work with technicians, communicate progress, and explain findings and recommendations in clear, approachable language.
- Prepare service estimates, discuss repair options, and use customer-focused sales and upselling to present relevant services without pressure.
- Process payments and handle cash accurately while maintaining organized service records.
- Your impact: Clear communication helps customers make informed decisions and enables colleagues to complete the right work efficiently.

Qualifications





- Previous experience as an Automotive Service Advisor or in an automotive repair environment is preferred.
- Strong customer service and communication skills.
- Basic knowledge of automotive systems, repairs, and maintenance.
- Ability to understand and explain repair estimates and technical recommendations.
- Solid organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Comfortable using computers and automotive shop management software.
- Positive attitude, teamwork, and a willingness to learn.

Ability to work in a fast-paced automotive service environment.
