Under the Chair’s direction, the Professor facilitates learning for apprenticeship and diploma students. The work includes course instruction, academic advising, assessment, curriculum development, and leadership. Candidates need a 310S Automotive Service Technician Red Seal, practical field experience, and teaching experience. Electrical vehicle experience is an asset.

Key Responsibilities:

- Teach assigned Automotive Service Technician apprenticeship courses
- Teach Motive Power Technician Diploma program courses
- Define outcomes and evaluate student achievement




- Provide tutoring and academic advising
- Revise curriculum and use educational technologies

Requirements:

- Minimum two years teaching experience or equivalent
- Minimum five years practical field experience
- 310S Automotive Service Technician Red Seal
- Knowledge of postsecondary student success strategies
- Effective communication, presentation, and organizational skills
