Assess personal debt situations and recommend options as an Insolvency Advisor with BDO’s Personal Debt Solutions team in Scarborough. Regular in-office presence is required.

This Insolvency Advisor position supports debtors and creditors through bankruptcies and proposals. You will perform consultations, prepare client files, and promote personal debt solutions. The role suits candidates with customer service, financial services insolvency, banking, credit counseling, or relevant experience. Training will be provided for initial consultations.

Key Responsibilities:

- Perform initial consultations and assess debtor situations
- Recommend appropriate bankruptcy and proposal options
- Assist debtors and creditors by telephone and in person




- Review interview forms and prepare signing documents
- Support outreach, presentations, business development, and social media

Requirements:

- Two or more years of relevant experience
- Effective communication and solid interpersonal skills
- Attention to detail and ownership of work quality
- Proficiency with Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel
- Availability for one weekly evening shift until 7:30pm
