Build secure APIs and applications at Sun Life through a hybrid Software Engineer Co-op focused on cybersecurity and cloud technologies. Work within your province while contributing to Corporate IT.

This co-op supports Corporate IT platforms and services across Enterprise Cloud, API, and DevOps environments. Under a Senior Engineer’s guidance, you will develop, test, and deploy APIs while embedding security throughout solution delivery. You will also explore ML/AI and Gen AI use cases within an Agile Scrum team.

Key Responsibilities:

- Develop, test, and deploy APIs under Senior Engineer guidance
- Apply secure software practices across applications and APIs
- Identify and help remediate security vulnerabilities




- Support security control testing and document results
- Research security technologies for cloud, API, and AI solutions

Requirements:

- Pursuing a master’s degree in a related technology discipline
- Solid coding, debugging, and problem-solving skills
- Knowledge of C# or Java
- Familiarity with Python, .NET, Spring Boot, and SQL
- Graduation date of April 2027 or later
