This opportunity focuses on greenfield and brownfield mining projects, including open-pit and underground mine design. You will develop standards, design packages, technical reports, and practical solutions for complex earthworks scopes.Key Responsibilities:
Design process plant, haul road, laydown, and site pad earthworksCoordinate ditches, channels, culverts, ponds, and surface waterDevelop design criteria, standards, and QA/QC practicesPrepare reports, specifications, design briefs,



and review documentsSupport construction through RFIs, field reviews, and clarificationsRequirements:
Accredited engineering degree in Civil or Structural EngineeringP.Eng. registration or eligibility for registrationSeven-plus years’ progressive civil engineering experienceMining and heavy industrial project backgroundFamiliarity with greenfield, brownfield, open-pit, and underground minesBring mining design knowledge, drainage expertise, and Civil3D capability to Giffen’s Toronto or Vancouver engineering team.
