Configure Palo Alto firewalls remotely from Canada while applying VPN, SIEM, and network security expertise to critical infrastructure.

This contract role focuses on Palo Alto Networks products, including Panorama, GlobalProtect, and WildFire. You will manage firewall policies, network segmentation, logs, security events, and technical troubleshooting. The work also involves secure architecture, compliance, and disaster recovery planning.

Key Responsibilities:

Install, configure, and maintain Palo Alto firewalls

Manage firewall policies, VPNs, and network segmentation

Analyze logs and security events for threat detection

Perform upgrades, patches, and configuration changes

Provide firewall troubleshooting and technical support

Requirements:

Robust TCP/IP, OSI, routing, and VPN knowledge

Experience with Palo Alto Networks products and CLI

Familiarity with SIEM tools and log correlation

Knowledge of NIST or ISO 27001 frameworks

Excellent communication and documentation skills
