This Recycling Technician role contributes to SARCAN’s recycling system through customer service and hands-on depot work. You will explain accepted materials, deposit amounts, and container sizes while recording refund orders. Daily duties also involve repetitive physical tasks, prolonged standing, and material handling.

Key Responsibilities:

- Explain accepted materials, deposits, and container sizes
- Record orders for customer deposit refunds
- Prepare containers by sorting, crushing, and loading
- Perform general cleaning throughout the depot and yard




- Stand for extended periods during repetitive physical work

Requirements:

- Ability to communicate courteously and professionally with customers
- Ability to follow instructions in the appropriate sequence
- Dependability and willingness to work as a team player
- Basic reading, writing, and numeracy abilities
