As a Program Instructor 2, you will lead seasonal basketball programs and leagues for children and youth. The position reports to the Supervisor, Community Programs - Recreation and Inclusion. You will instruct basketball basics, adapt activities for participant needs, and communicate with families, coworkers, and supervisors. Evening and weekend availability is required, with up to 24 hours weekly.

Key Responsibilities:

- Implement registered league and instructional basketball activities
- Supervise recreation programs in a secure environment
- Adapt programming for participant needs and abilities




- Assist participants, including providing appropriate first aid
- Complete reports and identify safety hazards

Requirements:

- Be at least 16 years old with demonstrated leadership
- Instruct children and youth in basketball basics
- Have one to two years working with children
- Have one to two years coaching or teaching basketball
- Work evenings and weekends, up to 24 hours weekly
