Pratt & Whitney seeks a final-year precision machining student for onsite practical experience at its Halifax, Nova Scotia, Plant 41.

You will support production lines while learning advanced machining techniques and specialized manufacturing skills. The placement welcomes students in Mechanical Engineering Technology, CNC, or Precision Machining programs. Experience includes tooling, CMM, continuous improvement programs, CORE, 6S, and blueprint interpretation. The internship is scheduled from April 26 to May 28, 2027.

Key Responsibilities:

- Support production lines through hands-on manufacturing activities
- Learn machining processes, including CNC machining and CMM
- Work with Lean Manufacturing and continuous improvement programs




- Gain advanced manufacturing experience through Industry 4.0 practices
- Assist professionals on special facility projects

Requirements:

- Active enrollment in Mechanical Engineering Technology, CNC, or Precision Machining
- Final-year standing in your program
- Interest in advanced machining techniques and manufacturing experience
- Availability for the stated internship dates
