Prepare quality sandwiches and meals as a Sandwich Maker while serving customers in a quick-paced food service environment. Travel is required for this position.
ESS Canada seeks a Sandwich Maker to prepare, present, and serve meals while maintaining food quality, presentation, and customer service. Duties include food preparation, recipe completion, safe storage, cleaning, and customer service. The schedule is ten-hour days with a twenty-days-on, ten-days-off rotation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare fruits and vegetables through washing, peeling, cutting, and seeding
- Complete sandwich recipes according to required standards
- Store food using wrapping, dating, safety, and rotation procedures
- Serve customers efficiently while following outlined service steps
- Maintain sanitation, safety, cleaning, and food temperature standards
Requirements:
- FoodSafe Level 1 Certification or provincial equivalent
- Strong time management and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently and within a team
- Good spoken and written English communication
- Physical ability to carry out position duties
