Maintain and fuel First Student buses while supporting protected dispatch through accurate readings, fluid checks, and yard coordination. This position works with the Maintenance Department.

The Service Employee maintains school, activity, and commercial buses. Responsibilities include dispensing fuel, checking oil, stocking supplies, and coordinating bus flow. The position also performs light maintenance on buses, buildings, and grounds as needed.

Key Responsibilities:

- Open lot gates and inspect bus parking areas
- Reposition buses that impede yard traffic
- Record fuel readings and complete required reports
- Check fluids, oil, belts, and bus components
- Perform light interior and exterior bus maintenance

Requirements:

- High school diploma or GED equivalent
- Knowledge of bus maintenance
- Ability to learn maintenance skills
- Ability to maintain accurate records
- Ability to follow management requests and directives
