This Maintenance Assistant reports to the Maintenance Manager and performs routine repairs and minor maintenance operations. The position covers facility equipment, buildings, exterior grounds, and safety inspections. It also requires accurate reporting, adherence to policies, and continued housekeeping and maintenance duties when assigned handyman responsibilities.

Key Responsibilities:

- Carry out minor maintenance on plumbing, electrical, mechanical, and building systems
- Maintain exterior grounds and complete painting and carpentry tasks
- Inspect the entire premises at regular intervals




- Record inspections and submit required reports
- Follow facility safety rules and secure working practices

Requirements:

- Knowledge of plumbing, electrical, heating, water, gas, and mechanical systems
- Training or knowledge in plastering and painting
- Ability to manage budgets and track work costs
- Detailed-oriented approach to recording completed work
- Knowledge of health and safety requirements
