Sort freight for Purolator in Kanata during an overnight shift, using accuracy, urgency, and package-handling skills. Work Monday through Friday from 2:30am to 8:15am.
As an AM Sorter, you will support Purolator’s Operations Department and Sorting Team. Your work includes unloading freight, preloading trucks, and handling packages from conveyor belts. You will scan, cube, and reweight shipments while maintaining operational standards. The schedule is overnight in Kanata, Ontario, near Ottawa.
Key Responsibilities:
- Unload and sort freight efficiently and accurately
- Preload up to five trucks
- Pull assigned freight from conveyor belts
- Scan, cube, and reweight packages
- Work with belts, trailers, containers, and vehicles
Requirements:
- Own vehicle and valid driver’s license
- Ability to lift and carry up to 70 pounds
- Sense of urgency in time-sensitive operations
- Willingness to work as part of a team
- Attention to process, quality, and operational standards
