Teach applied AI innovation at McMaster University’s Central Campus, using ChatGPT, Claude, and Perplexity with students. Deliver all course components in person.

This sessional faculty instructor will teach Innovation 2ZB: AI-Powered Innovation: Building Ideas in the Age of AI. Students use inquiry-based, hands-on experimentation to ideate, test, prototype, and pitch solutions to real-world problems. The appointment covers Winter 2027.

Key Responsibilities:

- Prepare and deliver lectures, seminars, and discussion periods
- Develop quizzes, tests, examinations, and laboratory assignments
- Evaluate students and respond to their inquiries
- Hold scheduled office hours and attend Director meetings
- Submit learning outcomes measurement for the course

Requirements:

- Post Secondary Degree required
- Master’s Degree or higher preferred
- Ten years of relevant experience preferred
- Availability Tuesday evenings from 7:00 to 10:00 pm
- Ability to teach all course components in person
