Reporting to the Manager, Consolidations, the Senior Accountant will play a key role in the monthly consolidation and financial close process across multiple entities. This role involves collaborating closely with portfolio companies and internal stakeholders to ensure the accuracy, consistency, and timeliness of financial reporting. The position offers exposure to complex accounting processes within a dynamic, fast-paced global organization, while contributing to process improvements and supporting strategic financial initiatives. Relocation will be considered for qualified candidates who are able to work in Canada with appropriate work authorization.Ideal CandidateThe ideal candidate is a CPA-designated accounting professional with 3–5 years of progressive experience in public accounting, bringing strong analytical skills and a high level of attention to detail. They thrive in quick-paced environments, can manage competing priorities, and are comfortable collaborating with stakeholders across multiple teams and portfolio companies. With a solid understanding of IFRS and strong financial systems expertise—particularly advanced Excel—they are proactive in identifying process improvements and ensuring accurate,



compliant financial reporting.Key ResponsibilitiesCoordinate and execute the monthly consolidation and close process supporting consolidated financial statements across multiple entitiesPrepare supporting schedules and analyses required for financial statement disclosures and management reportingCorrespond regularly with portfolio companies and corporate departments on financial close-related activitiesReview quarterly accounting reports received from portfolio companies to ensure consistency and accuracy, and provide timely feedbackMaintain corporate-level internal control documentation to support SOX‐compliant financial close processesAssist in integrating new assets and acquisitions into the consolidated accounting and reporting frameworkSupport external audit processes by responding to auditor requests and providing required documentationProactively identify issues and implement process improvements to streamline financial reporting activitiesPerform ad hoc analysis and special projects as requiredQualificationsCPA designation (Canada or US) or currently in progress3–5 years of progressive experience with a Canadian or US public accounting firmStrong analytical abilities and attention to detailAbility to work in a dynamic, complex, and fast-paced environment while managing changing prioritiesStrong interpersonal skills and ability to build relationships across teams and organizational levelsAdvanced financial systems experience, including strong Excel skillsDemonstrated knowledge of IFRSExperience with consolidation systems such as OneStream or Cognos Controller considered an assetAI may be used to support certain administrative aspects of our recruitment process.
