Chartwell seeks a Prep Cook for meal preparation in a volume food setting, ideally retirement, long-term care, or hospitality. You will prepare ingredients, cook dietary meals, receive supplies, and maintain clean work areas. Clear communication and customer service support the kitchen team.

Key Responsibilities:

- Prepare ingredients including meats, vegetables, and salads
- Cook meals that meet residents’ dietary needs
- Receive and store food and kitchen supplies
- Maintain dishes, surfaces, and kitchen organization
- Follow food safety and health practices

Requirements:

- One to two years’ experience in volume food preparation
- Retirement, long-term care, or hospitality experience preferred
- High school graduate or equivalent education
- Ability to stand, bend, lift, push, and carry
