This full time seasonal Carpenter Apprentice opportunity is for a registered 1st or 2nd Year apprentice in good standing with AIT. At the Esso Refinery, the work involves commercial or industrial construction activities and site structures. Sureway Construction operates across Alberta in civil earthworks, utilities, mine operations, and aggregate extraction.

Key Responsibilities:

- Execute construction work while following site safety requirements
- Promote safety as a workplace culture
- Perform required construction activities on industrial sites
- Construct and dismantle concrete forms, ramps, and catwalks




- Install and remove shoring and barricades as required

Requirements:

- 1st or 2nd Year Carpenter Apprentice registration
- AIT good standing and registered apprentice status
- Experience as a carpenter on commercial or industrial sites
- Flatwork experience and concrete formwork experience
- CSA-approved steel-toed boots with six-inch ankle support
