Apply your Red Seal Millwright certification maintaining UPS conveyors and automated sorting equipment at the Surrey facility on an early shift.

This permanent, unionized Maintenance Mechanic position supports UPS Buildings and Systems Engineering. You will maintain package handling systems using mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic troubleshooting skills. The schedule runs Monday through Friday, 3:00 AM to 11:30 AM, with occasional weekends and non-regular shifts required.

Key Responsibilities:

- Inspect, troubleshoot, repair, and replace conveyor mechanical components
- Adjust and replace AC and DC electrical equipment
- Repair pneumatic equipment, including puck sorters and compressors
- Repair hydraulic hoses, fittings, cylinders,



and pumps
- Perform preventive maintenance inspections and welding tasks

Requirements:

- Valid Red Seal Millwright Certification
- Grade 12 education or equivalent
- Three years post-apprenticeship industrial maintenance experience
- Experience maintaining conveyor belts
- Knowledge of electrical schematics and basic computer skills
