This Janitor position focuses on keeping sports complexes and surrounding grounds clean, explicit, and safe. Duties include general janitorial work, minor repairs, floor care, property cleanup, and ice maintenance when required. Canlan Sports offers multiple shift schedules, including part-time days and full-time afternoon or overnight work.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain entrances, grounds, and parking lot cleanliness
- Complete property and grounds cleanup duties
- Maintain window and parking lot cleaning records
- Follow established floor care procedures
- Support ice maintenance during peak periods
Requirements:
- Building Service Worker Certificate in British Columbia
- Approachable, team-oriented, and strong communication skills
- Commercial janitorial experience is preferred
- Willingness to work flexible hours and call outs
- High school education or equivalent is an asset
