Prepare resident meals at Atria Senior Living while applying food safety practices and supporting clean, sanitary kitchen operations. This position focuses on dependable meal service.

As a Prep Cook, you will assist cooks with meal and snack preparation and presentation. You will work closely with the Executive Chef and/or Sous Chef to support residents’ satisfaction with food and dining programs. The work includes following recipes, production guides, and company standards.

Key Responsibilities:

- Assist with preparing and presenting meals and snacks
- Follow recipes and production guides during preparation
- Maintain clean, protected, and sanitary kitchen conditions
- Support special events, banquets, and theme meals
- Attend pre-meal kitchen stand-ups before service

Requirements:

- Basic reading, writing, and mathematical skills
- Ability to communicate effectively in English
- Food handler permit where required
- Knowledge of food handling, preparation, cooking, and service
- Ability to follow recipes and production guides
