Omega Tool Corp manufactures plastics tooling for global OEM and Tier 1 clients. The Set Up Technician performs machine setup, adjustment, and maintenance. This full-time role follows Monday-to-Friday scheduling, with Saturdays as needed and days-afternoons rotation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform initial setup of tools and components on machines
- Load and unload materials from pallets, trucks, and lifting devices
- Empty metal chip bins at machine workstations
- Maintain housekeeping across work areas and shop floor
- Participate in continuous improvement tasks and projects
Requirements:
- Solid mechanical aptitude and problem-solving capability
- Knowledge of arithmetic, geometry, and applications
- Excellent time management and task prioritization skills
- Ability to determine correct tools and equipment
- Ability to lift materials weighing up to 35 pounds
