Receiving Associates at The Home Depot unload freight, verify merchandise, and use store systems while supporting accurate product movement.

This role handles inbound merchandise from carriers and checks quantity and quality. Associates enter receiving information, use powered lift equipment, and follow established procedures. They may also pick assigned orders through the Order Fulfillment Application.

Key Responsibilities:

- Unload inbound freight using designated equipment
- Compare shipping documents with purchase orders
- Count cartons and identify damaged merchandise
- Stock merchandise and maintain organized receiving areas
- Schedule deliveries and update receiving systems

Requirements:

- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Minimum one year receiving experience
- Powered lift equipment licensing required
- Attention to detail and procedural accuracy
- Previous forklift experience considered an asset
