Build tested industrial control panels at CDN’s Calgary NE Branch using electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and hands-on fabrication skills.

As a Control Panel Specialist, you will transform finished drawings into accurate, ship-ready panels. You will build and wire assemblies from start to finish while reporting to the Fabrication Supervisor. The work includes panel layout, component installation, point-to-point wiring, testing, and routine troubleshooting.

Key Responsibilities:

- Lay out and mount panel hardware, DIN rail, and wireway
- Install breakers, relays, PLCs, drives, and terminal blocks
- Wire panels accurately from electrical schematics and diagrams
- Label conductors, terminals, and devices to drawing requirements




- Complete continuity checks and basic functional testing

Requirements:

- One to two-plus years building or wiring industrial control panels
- Ability to read electrical schematics and wiring diagrams
- Comfort using crimpers, wire strippers, drills, and multimeters
- Familiarity with Allen-Bradley, Phoenix Contact, Weidmuller, or similar
- High school diploma or equivalent
