This full time Manufacturing Mechanic position is internally called a Loom Mechanic. MW Canada provides hands-on training in loom operation, setup, maintenance, and repair. You will work with gears, drives, pneumatics, hydraulics, and basic electrical controls as experience develops.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain and adjust industrial weaving equipment
- Support production through setups and changeovers
- Read work orders, manuals, and maintenance instructions
- Work with experienced mechanics and machine operators
- Communicate concerns and document maintenance activities
Requirements:
- Good problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Basic computer skills
- Willingness to learn through company-provided training
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds independently
