As a Pharmacy Assistant, you will assist the Pharmacist with technical prescription filling and administrative duties. You will receive prescriptions, assess completeness, process patient information, and prepare medications. Key Responsibilities:
- Receive prescriptions and assess required patient and prescriber information
- Enter data, process refills, and generate pharmacy reports
- Select, count, measure, label, and organize prescription products
- Maintain inventory, remove expired medications,
and process orders
- File records, clean equipment, and support OTC operations
Requirements:
- Minimum age of 16 years or older
- Ability to follow provincial legal and regulatory conditions
- Ability to interpret written prescriptions and Latin abbreviations
