Canada Post seeks an Industrial Electrician skilled in electrical maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs for mail processing equipment. Some travel may be required.

This Electrician maintains electrical and electro-mechanical mail handling, mail processing, and related equipment. The work includes preventative maintenance, diagnostics, installations, adjustments, and breakdown repairs. Effective communication, documentation, and workload planning are also required.

Key Responsibilities:

- Conduct preventative and system maintenance
- Read schematics, blueprints, wiring diagrams, and specifications
- Perform troubleshooting, testing, and diagnostic procedures
- Install, remove, adjust, repair, and overhaul equipment




- Complete documentation and ensure effective equipment operation

Requirements:

- Provincial journeyman-level certificate in Industrial Electricity
- At least two years of secondary school completed
- At least two years’ maintenance workplace experience
- Electrical installation, repair, and troubleshooting experience required
- Knowledge of electrical codes and programmable logic controls
