Universal Rail Solutions Inc. is hiring a Trackmachine Operator for full-time, unionized railway construction work. This position supports track installation, maintenance, and rehabilitation activities across Ontario. Success requires careful equipment operation, situational awareness, communication, and compliance with railway regulations and provincial safety requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

- Support track installation, maintenance, and rehabilitation operations
- Operate heavy equipment in active and inactive rail corridors
- Perform grading, ditching, trenching, and ballast distribution
- Follow site-specific work plans and railway operating rules




- Coordinate with Forepersons, Track Crews, and Track Protection personnel

Requirements:

- Two to five years in construction, railway, or infrastructure equipment operation
- Railway rights-of-way experience considered a strong asset
- Valid Ontario Class G Driver's Licence; AZ or DZ considered an asset
- Strong understanding of protected work practices and hazard recognition
- Good communication, teamwork, reliability, and adaptability
