Support resident comfort at AgeCare Mount Royal as a Health Care Aide using personal care, transfers, and feeding assistance. This temporary, 0.67 FTE position works in Calgary at 1813 9 Street SW.

As a Health Care Aide, you will provide personal care and mobility support according to care plans and procedures. You will assist with bathing, meals, transfers, treatments, and movement throughout the facility. The work supports residents’ comfort, well-being, daily activities, and access to dining, therapy, recreation, and social functions.

Key Responsibilities:

- Bath, shower, and wash residents according to NCP procedures
- Assist transfers using lifts, transfer belts, and PPE
- Feed residents and follow their prescribed care-plan diets




- Provide routine treatments under Staff Nurse direction
- Escort residents to dining, therapy, recreation, and social activities

Requirements:

- Recognized PCA, HCA 2002, or equivalent education certificate
- Active CLHA registration as required for practice
- Fluent English communication, orally and in writing
- One year of continuing care experience preferred
- Post-secondary education considered an asset
