UPS seeks permanent part-time Local Sorters in Delta, British Columbia, handling packages and following safety procedures. Work Monday to Friday, 5:30PM to 9:30PM, with schedules subject to operational requirements.

Working from UPS’s Fraser Valley Package Facility, Local Sorters unload and load packages from trailers, air canisters, and other vehicles. The work includes scanning, sorting, lifting, and moving packages while standing near conveyor and roller-belt equipment. Warehouse experience is considered an asset, but is not required.

Responsabilités clés:

- Unload and load packages from trailers and vehicles
- Scan and sort packages by postal codes and addresses
- Move packages weighing between 10 and 70 pounds
- Handle packages weighing up to 150 pounds
- Wash package cars to maintain cleanliness

Exigences:

- Availability to work Monday through Friday
- Ability to follow safety and standard procedures
- Good organizational and multitasking skills
- Comfort working in a warehouse environment
- Ability to lift 70-pound packages safely, unassisted
