Support K-12 learners as an Education Assistant with School District 71, assisting instruction, personal care, and behaviour management across assigned settings.

This Education Assistant position serves elementary and secondary students with diverse learning, behavioural, and intellectual needs. You may support individual students or groups while assisting teachers with instructional and non-instructional tasks. Assignments may be on-call, temporary part time,



or temporary full-time.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support individual or small groups of students
• Assist classroom instruction and activities of daily living
• Carry out personal and health care routines

Requirements:

• Grade 12 education and Human Services Worker certificate
• Two years recent experience supporting students with diverse abilities
• Training in behaviour strategies, autism, communication systems, and ABA
• Current CPR-AED Level C First Aid certification
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
