and delivering exceptional response times.In this role you will:Independently assess and underwrite personal risks in a fast-paced, high-volume environmentApply company guidelines to approve,modifyor decline risksCommunicate underwriting decisions to internal teamsEnsure compliance with company guidelines and regulations.Support key departments byassistingwith coaching, training development, and mentoring broker-underwriters.Conduct file audits andprovideunderwriting guidance.Contribute to product and personallinesmanual reviews and improvements.Here's what you bring:Strong knowledge of personal lines insurance products and operations.Proficiencyin the underwriting process.Minimum 3 years of underwriting experience or 5 yearsinpersonal lines broking.Working toward or completion of CAIB, CIP, FCIP, or CRM designation.Critical thinking and analysisExcellent time management and ability to multitaskExceptional customer service and organizational skillsStrong interpersonal skills & broker relationshipsAbility to take initiative and work effectively with minimal direction
