This Environmental Services Worker position supports hospital operations through detailed cleaning and specialized floorcare. Duties include scrubbing and waxing floors, shampooing carpets and chairs, removing waste, cleaning windows, and handling isolation rooms. The role also includes laundry, room setups, winter salt application, spill cleanup, and environmental sustainability activities.

Key Responsibilities:

- Perform hospital cleaning, mopping, and dusting
- Shampoo carpets and chairs as required
- Clean interior windows and isolation rooms
- Complete floor and blood spill cleanups
- Apply salt during winter months

Requirements:

- Grade 12 or GED required
- Healthcare experience is considered an asset
- Knowledge of Family Centered Care
- Robust interpersonal and relationship-building skills
- Accountability for personal decisions and actions
