This full time Home Support Worker position includes a three-week free and paid training program. You will help people live safely at home by supporting daily tasks, self-care, meals, housekeeping, and companionship. Experience with seniors or children is an asset.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support basic activities of daily living
- Assist patients with personal hygiene care
- Prepare meals and provide mealtime assistance
- Offer companionship supporting patient well-being
- Travel to patient residences for home visits
Requirements:
- Passion for making a community difference
- Compassion and listening skills
- Willingness to work every other weekend
- Experience with seniors or children is an asset
- Previous personal hygiene care experience is an asset
Use compassionate listening, meal assistance, and companionship skills while helping ParaMed patients remain safe and supported at home.
