Specialist, Broking & PlacementAs a Specialist in our Real Estate division, you will provide exemplary service to the Production Team by building and fostering strong relationships with insurers and other industry service providers to deliver competitive terms for the BFL National Residential Program.ResponsibilitiesDevelop and maintain strong relationships with insurers to negotiate rates and deductibles.Utilize in‑house contracts for the Strata/Condo Program and demonstrate robust underwriting ability.Collaborate with client executives to discuss client needs and recommend favorable terms and conditions.Assist with innovative marketing processes for large portfolio renewals.Stay current on recent products, coverage and market trends through seminars and reading relevant material.Attend insurer and industry functions as required.Follow BFL policies and procedures,



including security and quality procedures.Complete additional duties and special projects as assigned.QualificationsMinimum 3–5 years of industry‑related experience.University degree or professional insurance designation (CIP, CAIB, CRM) preferred, or equivalent work experience.Level 2 license required.Proficiency with Microsoft Word and Excel.Excellent verbal and written communication skills.Strong organizational and time‑management abilities.Detail oriented, customer‑focused, and sales‑oriented.Energetic, flexible, and capable of working independently and as part of a team.SalaryAnnual base salary ranges from $60,000 to $80,000, determined by experience, location, and business segment.LocationsVancouver (Coal Harbour) or Langley (Walnut Grove).Equal OpportunityBFLCANADA is an equal‑opportunity employer.
