About the Role

Our client, a highly-regarded restaurant specializing in authentic French cuisine in Kimberley , is seeking a skilled and dedicated Chef de Partie. Key Responsibilities

• Manage and execute the preparation and cooking of dishes within your designated station (e.g., sauces, meats, vegetables) in the French cuisine restaurant in Kimberley .
• Ensure all dishes are prepared to the highest standards of quality, taste, and presentation.
• Adhere strictly to recipes, portion control, and cooking methods.
• Maintain impeccable cleanliness and organization of your workstation and equipment.
• Assist with inventory management, stock rotation, and receiving of goods for your section.
• Collaborate effectively with other members of the kitchen brigade to ensure smooth service flow.

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Chef de Partie or solid experience as a Commis Chef in a professional kitchen.
• Proven experience with French cuisine and techniques is essential.
• Solid understanding of food preparation, cooking methods, and presentation.
• Knowledge of food safety and hygiene standards.
• Ability to work efficiently under pressure and as part of a team.
• Good organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
• Must be based in or willing to relocate to Kimberley .
