The School of Environmental Sciences seeks one full-load Teaching Assistant for ENVS*4100/6540 Integrated Management of Invasive Insect Pests. The GTA, Unit 1 assignment includes orientation-training, preparation, labs or seminars, exam invigilation, grading, and student consultation. The successful candidate will have undergraduate courses in entomology or current graduate research in entomology, integrated pest management,



or a similar field.

Key Responsibilities:

• Complete orientation-training for the teaching assignment
• Prepare course materials and assigned instructional activities
• Consult with students about course-related questions
• Conduct in-person laboratories or seminars
• Invigilate exams and grade assigned work

Requirements:

• Undergraduate courses in entomology
• Current graduate research in entomology
• Current graduate research in integrated pest management
• Related field experience may meet the stated qualification
• Eligibility to work in Canada at the University of Guelph
