This Supply Chain Coordinator Co-op supports purchasing, scheduling, and supplier coordination across custom automated manufacturing solutions. You will help maintain production requirements, control inventory levels, and ensure materials arrive on time and cost-effectively. The team collaborates with project management, manufacturing, engineering, and supplier partners.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support purchasing releases through MRP system functionality
- Coordinate production material needs with internal teams
- Implement cost reduction strategies and maintain cost baselines
- Develop effective relationships with supplier partners
- Track dashboard metrics and manage material returns
Requirements:
- Post-secondary enrollment in supply chain or related studies
- Academic program must require a co-op or work term
- MRP or ERP experience considered an asset
- Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities
- Ability to multitask, prioritize, and support continuous improvement
