Support Hydro-Québec food service in East James Bay as a First Cook with ARAMARK, using strong culinary skills and organized kitchen leadership. The assignment follows a 15-days-on, 13-days-off schedule.
This First Cook position covers daily menu preparation, food production, and kitchen operations. You will prepare ingredients, manage inventory and ordering, respond to operational needs, and maintain food service quality. Previous remote camp experience is an asset, while transportation is provided from Bagotville and Rouyn-Noranda.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare daily menus and cook wide-ranging food items
- Measure, weigh, mix, chop, cut, and peel ingredients
- Manage kitchen operations, inventory, and ordering
- Respond effectively to operational requirements
- Maintain work areas and food service quality
Requirements:
- Minimum three to four years of relevant experience
- Strong culinary skills and experience considered an asset
- Previous remote camp experience considered an asset
- MAPAQ certification and food safety compliance
- Strong organization, judgment, and teamwork
