The University of Calgary is seeking a postdoctoral researcher for a one-year appointment beginning September 1, 2027, or January 1, 2028. The work will take place under a faculty member’s direction and supervision. Extension or renewal may be possible based on satisfactory performance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct research within the Department of Mathematics and Statistics
- Work under direction and supervision of faculty
- Identify a solid match with current research areas
- Concurrently apply for Sessional Teaching positions
Requirements:
- Normally hold a PhD within five appointment-start years
- Meet the relevant PhD award-date requirement
- Demonstrate alignment with departmental research areas
- Review applicable postdoctoral collective agreement terms
