As an experienced Highway Maintenance Foreperson, you will monitor winter operations and subcontracted work within an assigned patrol area. Fowler Construction is expanding its MTO winter services with the Sudbury contract beginning September 1, 2026. The work includes road patrols, equipment preparation, compliance documentation, safety talks, and public complaint response.

Key Responsibilities:

- Monitor winter operations and dispatch maintenance equipment
- Prepare and operate plows, spreaders, loaders, and trucks
- Review safety tailgate talks with staff




- Maintain patrol diaries and deficiencies lists
- Respond to public complaints and roadway hazards

Requirements:

- Experienced highway maintenance background
- Valid DZ or equivalent driver's license
- Mechanically inclined with tool and equipment experience
- Ability to work independently with little supervision
- Availability for nights, weekends, shifts, and on-call work
