Reporting to the Manager, Marketing, you will help manage commercial positions connected to production operations. The work calls for natural gas industry experience, market knowledge, and sound economic judgment. Success requires communication, decision-making, and the ability to perform under pressure across multiple deadlines.

Key Responsibilities:

- Strategically trade around production positions to generate P&L;
- Monitor market developments, pipeline constraints, and price expectations
- Coordinate with scheduling to maintain correct market positions
- Share market information with internal groups and the team




- Prepare regular and ad hoc presentation materials

Requirements:

- Five-plus years in natural gas commercial or front-office roles
- Experience trading short-term physical gas in Alberta
- Robust understanding of Alberta natural gas and NGTL systems
- Post-secondary degree in business, economics, mathematics, statistics, or engineering
- Ability to make effective decisions from available information
