The Credit Manager oversees a complex credit book within CIBC Private Wealth Management. This role guides Private Banking Advisors on recent requests, evaluates individuals and holding companies, and supports appropriate credit structures. You will also help maintain credit quality, documentation, and reviews for sophisticated client financial needs.

Key Responsibilities:

- Guide Advisors on new credit requests and client financial information
- Assess credit strength against proposed lending requests
- Partner with Wealth Risk Management on credit terms




- Coordinate loan and security documentation with back-office teams
- Advise Advisors and leadership on credit structuring

Requirements:

- Degree from a recognized post-secondary educational provider
- Working knowledge of personal, residential, mortgage, and business lending
- Understanding of high net worth estate planning concepts
- Knowledge of CIBC products and services for high net worth clients
