This Assistant Store Manager reports to the Store Manager within the BC Liquor Distribution Branch’s BCLIQUOR retail brand. You will help oversee customer-facing operations, supervise employees, maintain morale, and support acceptable security levels. The work includes assignments, training, store duties, stock variances, and Branch policy support.

Key Responsibilities:

- Assist with management of a major retail operation
- Schedule assignments and train retail staff
- Maintain staff morale and encourage teamwork
- Help control stock levels and stock variances
- Support Branch policies and physical asset security

Requirements:

- Secondary school diploma or equivalent certificate
- Recent service-oriented experience in a customer-facing setting
- At least six months of recent supervisory experience
- Serving It Right certification before appointment confirmation
- Ability to stand, bend, and perform warehouse duties
